Prepare to be amazed as you enter a different world, where a way of life continues as it has done for centuries, enabling you to go back in time.
Your local guide will lead you through the village, introducing you to homesteads built from natural materials — thatched roofs, sunbaked bricks, and carefully swept courtyards. The first stop is the traditional healer, or n’anga, a revered figure in local society. The healer’s hut, often lined with herbs, bones, and jars of mysterious powders, offers a glimpse into Zimbabwe’s deep spiritual traditions. Learn how ancestral beliefs still shape daily life, how herbs are used for both physical and spiritual healing, and how communities seek balance between the old ways and modern life.
Clients are taken to an authentic rural village approximately 20km from Victoria Falls town, where they are given the opportunity to watch local villagers going about their daily tasks. This tour offers a unique chance to experience rural life firsthand; visiting rural homes, observing fields being tended, and possibly participating in some of the day-to-day chores.
